Lady Gaga

New York, NY ยท 2005 - present

Lady Gaga’s Mayhem Ball Tour ends April 13 at Madison Square Garden, closing a run that began in Las Vegas in July 2025 and covered North America, Europe, and Asia in support of her 2025 album Mayhem. The MSG finale is her third show at the venue during this tour, following dates in March, and it wraps one of the most elaborate productions she’s mounted in years.

Gaga has always understood spectacle as the vehicle, not the destination. Her best shows aren’t impressive because of the production values, which are exceptional; they’re impressive because the production values serve a specific vision about what a pop concert should be. The Mayhem Ball has been built around the album’s aesthetic, which is industrial and gothic and more abrasive than anything she’s done since the early art-pop period, and the show design has followed.

The guest lineup for various tour dates included Charli XCX and Rina Sawayama, two of the more interesting artists working in adjacent territory, which gave the tour a sense of community and context that solo arena shows often lack.

Her trajectory since ARTPOP and the long detour into acting and acoustic ballads has been one of the stranger career arcs in mainstream pop. The return to something that sounds like her most adventurous work, and the scale of the touring response to it, suggests the audience was ready for it even when the industry wasn’t sure it was. The MSG finale is the last night of a tour that proved something worth proving.

The Mayhem Ball Tour concludes April 13 at Madison Square Garden. Mayhem is out now.
